Passover
the celebration of Jesus!
I want to begin with this word that came forth Sunday from Glory of Zion, it is POWERFUL! And will ignite your spirit!
As you seek My kingdom first, there will be a movement in this land back to the biblical feasts. You have pioneered the biblical feasts in a way, but it is time to ramp up the biblical feasts’ perspective in this land again. As you celebrate the feasts, it will be as a shield, as a covering, for people who need to come in. From this place, a new understanding and a new love for the feasts will come to this land. It will be the saving grace of this nation – the biblical feasts being celebrated. Don’t stop celebrating My feasts! War with My feast times, for it will be the saving grace for this nation! Do not stop celebrating. Do not stop celebrating the feasts this hour! Do not fear being misunderstood. You are becoming a refuge for people to come in. Stand resolute in your understanding of the feasts. There is a ramping up of revelatory feast-time in this nation, and it will change this nation if you choose. By you worshiping, celebrating, and feasting in My time, I will cause massive storms to pass on by this house I call your nation.” (Chuck Pierce, Michelle Hadley, Linda Heidler, Robyn Vincent, Keevy Phillips)
Passover: Redeemed by the Blood
‘Take a lamb... for each household... [On] the fourteenth day of the month... slaughter them at twilight. Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses... That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast.... ‘This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you... This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord —a lasting ordinance.
Exodus 12:3, 6-8, 11-14, NIV
Origins of Passover
In the OT...
By the blood of a lamb, Israel was redeemed
The judgment of God was turned away from the Israelites
The gods of Egypt were judged and their power broken
Israel was released from oppression and bondage
The Israelites were set free to enter God’s promise
In the NT...
Jesus and the apostles all celebrated Passover
The original Lord’s Supper was a Passover meal!
The apostles taught the Gentile churches to celebrate Passover.
History of the Early Church
The death of the church began when Constantine adopted Christianity and made it look like traditional roman layout - worship was taken away from the people.
When persecution ended for Christians it looked like a good thing. Magnificent churches were built. But Constantine controlled the church.
Constantine changed Christianity at the Council of Nicea:
Outlawed house churches, made everyone meet in his fancy basilicas
Took away worship, only the clergy could sing
He separated the church from Judaism and took away biblical feasts (Constantine hated the Jews)
Constantine followed Mithris (pagan sun god) - so he claimed Christianity but not Jesus
He made Sunday a national holiday and called it SUN to honor Mithris
People now prayed to “patron saint of...” instead of praying to their old gods >> still pagan, gods just had different names
NO HOLY SPIRIT
Why Satan Hates Passover
Celebrating Passover is the celebration of Jesus!
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!” (John 1:29)
“Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.” (1 Cor 5:7)
All heaven joins together in a huge Passover celebration honoring Jesus at the Lamb who was slain. (Rev 4-5)

Suggestions for Celebrating Passover
Share a meal
Tell the Passover story
Take communion to celebrate Jesus, our Passover Lamb
Remember the greatness of God’s deliverance
Thank you God that...
I’m redeemed out of every old cycle!
Bondage is broken!
I am set free by the blood of the Lamb to enter the promise!
If you feel stuck, confused and are not sure how to move forward knowing all of this history, (I’ve found myself here throughout the years), here’s what the Lord told me to do….
Don’t let yourself get messed up when people talk about Easter (the enemy wants you discombobulated over judgements so that you cannot celebrate or experience God’s power this Passover season)
Don’t condemn others for participating in Easter egg hunts, etc. That’s just judgment, judgment negates My Mercy, and it captures YOU!
Try to “look again” and see how God is using all of this to still cause His people to remember His death and resurrection.
Take every opportunity to praise God for sending Jesus as the Passover lamb.
Begin learning how to celebrate Passover and the biblical feasts.
Remember the focus is JESUS, don’t let religion or judgement steal your testimony. It ultimately comes down to this: you’re not responsible for telling everyone that when they say the word “easter” it’s actually the name of a pagan goddess… you’re all here for the same reason, JESUS.
I hope this was informative and encouraging. We are all just celebrating Jesus here, let’s focus not on what we “shouldn’t be doing” this weekend - everyone will have their own practices and opinions - but let’s rise up and proclaim the blessing of PASSOVER and see how God makes a way for us, where it seems there’s been no way…

I felt so odd yesterday at church and having people say Happy Easter. To be honest, we don’t usually go to Easter or Christmas services but I don’t enjoy the crowds. But this year, I felt called to just go and pray. Boy did he guide me in prayer. My heart was broken for those who don’t understand what they are truly at church for. What He gives and how He loves. Oh the freedom they are still yet to see, know and experience! Service was great! Worship was beautiful and I am excited to see the fruit of the worship, prayers and freedom each received.
